Renewable Choice Energy recently announced it is renewing its Accredited Consulting Partnership to the Carbon Disclosure Project, which showcases CDP's growing reach and the success of its programs to cut down the emission of harmful greenhouse gas.
"Renewable Choice has demonstrated a commitment to encouraging the high-quality disclosure of climate change-related data from global corporations and has displayed strong credentials in regards to supply chain sustainability and greenhouse gas measurement services," said Paul Robins, head of corporate partnerships at the CDP.
The CDP works to provide people with the necessary information to reduce the possibility of climate change and has increased the popularity of reporting carbon emissions throughout the United States and around the globe.
CDP requires its partners to meet certain criteria, which include supplying outstanding service references from CDP responding companies.
Recent research from professor Louise Jackson of the University of California shows that reducing carbon emissions can also balance atmospheric carbon.
Jackson said maintenance of natural wildlands can improve the amount of carbon stored in woody biomass and soil.
